*MY UGLYDOROTHY creator Sopha Portal has done it yet again! And by 'it' (this entire introductory sentence seems like deja-vu to me), I mean she has created yet another adorable skin! This one is called Ann and just look at it! So precious, so pure, so innocent, yet so beautiful. And with this skin, Sopha has also launched a brand new epic move for those of us that are 2.0 users (whether Emerald 2.0 or SecondLife 2.0). What is this move? 2.0 skins...like face tattoos...that make you look like you're wearing the Ann skin. They're cheaper than the normal Ann skin and just as adorable. Unlike the normal Ann skin, the face tattoo doesn't cover your avs arms or legs or torso, but if that's not a big deal for you then this is huge!

The Ann skin comes in two skin tones: Whiteasfuck ([like Palpatine white] also known as just 'Ann') and Ann Mid. I'm reviewing the Ann Mid skin today. 'Cause honestly, it's summer! We need a little color, amirite? That and I get paid next week...so I really only had enough money to purchase two makeups. Ann Mid won. Each makeup in the Ann/Ann Mid skins comes with a teeth version and a non-teeth version, and both are equally adorable in their own right.

My final words: I'd definitely check out the Ann skins right now. RIGHT NOW! They're adorable, they're new, and I love them to be honest. Blair loves them too. Howdy! If you haven't figured out by now this is post has a certain theme to it... No, not Girls Gone Wild you silly boys, COWPEOPLE! ( We all know that cowboys is totally sexist ;P ) I was so delighted when I saw that Reek had whipped up some new treasures and jeepers are they fantastic! Western hats and super cute hair! Which for some reason made me think of that girl from Gilligan's Island. I mean who could resist cute pony tails and a great hat? HMMM? NO ONE!


The reason I fell in love with the hair under these nifty chapeaus is frankly becuase they are well crafted, highly detailed and gives me an excuse to throw on my favorite romper! I mean who said Western has to be jeans and flannel shirts?

An Adventure With Hobbes!

I dont know about you but I love when my friends bring out little interesting toy's and I squealed when my friend Demi brought out her lil friend Hobbes! He's a little dapper tiger and boy is he just the cutest!

Ok enough about Mr. Hobbes, this post is about fun, bows and of course clothes! This outfit I got was actually freebies from a store I found on a blog and jeepers was I so excited! Willow has done the impossible, made a prim skirt that actually works! Usually I have to edit my hips, butt and everything else so basically I don't wear skirts that often.

Not did she only make a skirt but she created this beautiful shirt with bow detail. Anyone who knows sblair knows that I love my bows. The freebies are on the table to the right when you TP in. So GO GO GO and look at the awesome freebies and the rest of her amazing items she has made!

Gemma Ward?! Iz Dat You?!

Don't I wish! Gemma Ward is one hot model. I don't care if one of my exes said she looked like a frog. He was just jealous he didn't have flawless skin, beautiful eyes, and a model contract. She's pretty enough to have SL skins modeled after her at Mother Goose's skin shop and now she has another skin store under her belt (like she cares)...JM:Mai! JM:Mai's new line of Gemma skins came out today in w (white/pale), tan, and dark tan. The w skin has a dimple line too, which would be adorable if I could tell the difference between the w normal skins and the w dimpled ones. I however bought the tan version of JM:Mai's Gemma. Why? Because this skin has more options. Not only does it have the normal makeup versions, but some funky eye makeups, lipsticks, and a few skins that feature a little bloodier of a look.

Now, teeth skin can be sketchy. They can either look super cute, or look bucktoothed. Most of the time, I just look bucktoothed. I can say I played with my mouth sliders to fix my bucktoothy problem (I'd like to shout-out Olivia Connaught for helping me fix that) after I took these photos. But you can see how sometimes it may be difficult. At the same time, the mouth is adorable. It resembles Gemma Ward's perfect lips to a T for me. I also like how the nose and eyes accentuate the lips and bring the face to a full circle of exotic beauty, with a dash of hometown girl-feel. Now the eyebrows, not my faves. They look a little too harshly slanted for me. I thought it was maybe just my eyebrow base...nope. It's just how the eyebrows are. They are meant to look EVIIIIIL. Well, not literally. Either way, it really all looks freaking adorable. JM:Mai has really done a good job as normal. I would even go as far as to say that JM:Mai's Gemma skin outdoes Mother Goose's tenfold. It's way cuter with better textures IMHO.

My final words: This skin is not for everyone. Though I know people who have said they like it and that it's cute, I also know others who really dislike it (mostly the teeth part). So definitely demo the skin before buying it. That's not to say you shouldn't check it out! Do it, do it, do it! Can't knock it until you try it!

DID YOU SAY GLASSES?

No, but I did. These hawt glasses here are from Reek. They're new! Now, I'm not exactly a glasses connoisseur (or however the hell that's spelled). I like some glasses. I'm a cute butterfly kitten style of glasses. But other than the occasional spunky adorable (possibly children's) glasses, I can tell you I never wear glasses. But these -- these aren't like the cutesy glasses I get from stores. These don't make you scream adorable kitten rainbows, but I like them anyway. Why? I'll save that for the next paragraph. But for now...let me introduce...*drum rolls*...Reek's NEW Park Shades!

Now, adorable spotted heart-shaped glasses are cute for cute outfits. Not for everyday. I can say the same about so many other glasses I own merely for their adorableness. Cute for certain days, but not an everyday deal. The glasses featured in this post are. These Park Shades not only have a thick rim that makes you look stylish in a library, dinner, morning, nerdy, hipster, office, and other setting, but they also come with a HUD so that you may change the colors of the arms, frames, and lenses of the glasses. So, wearing black and white today? Go ahead and make these glasses black and white. Though the colors are basic colors like pink, green, and blue (no mauve, sorry I was disappointed too), it's still pretty easy to find some color that matches the outfit of your choice! Heck, you can even go with a plain Weezer black and call it a day! It doesn't matter because the choice is all yours. These glasses...they're good for all occasions. I promise.

My final words: If you're definitely into glasses and can never let your av have two eyes, definitely check them out and click the buy button. If not, check them out, see if it's something you really need. If not, check out the many other glasses choices Reek has. They have tons of others and most are more than perfect for summer.

Summer Break

Hello there people,

MY UGLYDOROTHY just came out with a new skin! Well actually three, but I'm only gonna review one of them. Cause let's face it -- I'm not made of Lindens. Strippers really don't make as much as they used to. Oh, I kid (not really), but yes! Sopha Portal has come out with three new skins as of today! I'd like to think this is her way of paying respects to the now late Gary Coleman and Dennis Hopper. Plus when life gets bad, something good is always waiting around the corner! MY UGLYDOROTHY is the epitome of good. First of the three skins released today was a Vienna skin (seen in my last & first MY UGLYDOROTHY review) in pale. Why in pale? Well if you actually listened to me and checked out the Vienna skins released by Sopha a while back, they were all pretty darkish. Even the light one kinda looked a little sunkissed to me (Blair had to tell me the skin didn't look sunburnt -- No joke). Apparently, the sunkissed look didn't go over well with everybody, so Sopha made it right. Afterall, the customer is always right (unless their name is Rosalie Tenenbaum). The second of the skins released by Sopha is Drew. Now Drew isn't being reviewed here. I loved how it looked in the ad -- I really did, but when I tried on the demo, it just didn't look as cute. Bummer for me, I know right? It's still bleeds with adorable as does the skin released today that I actually am going to review.

Like that dramatic pause there? The one that made you just explode into a mess of blood and anticipation? Yeah, I thought so. The skin I am about to unveil for your viewing pleasure (possibly for the first time) is Sue. Oh Sue, Sue, Sue. To get off topic a little bit, every time I see Sue, I think of the Mary Sue Litmus Test and my own intelligent ego smacks me with a smile. So you can imagine the smile I get when that name Sue is associated with my love for MY UGLYDOROTHY. Now multiply that smile with the smile I get when I see teeth-skins. That's right! Sue (and Drew) have teeth-skin options! But not everyone belongs in a circus like I do, so for those of you who are not as excited about teeth-skins as I am, each skin comes with a normal mouth option too. Most teeth-skins have both so this isn't surprising, but I don't care! You get the best of both worlds! *cues death by Miley Cyrus music now*

Now onto the skin itself: I'd be lying if I said it was perfect, but it's pretty damn close. Honestly, perfection is something hard to achieve if achievable at all. And now that you've got my deep thought of the day -- THIS SKIN IS SO ADORABLE. It looks like it has an azn (spelling out asian is for losers) feel to it that I think is adorable. With the outfit I'm wearing, I'd even beg to say this skin is Tokyo Pop. My favorite part about the skin though? The lips. They're small, they're thin, and they make you look like you're as sweet as pie. I could seriously be wearing bondage gear in these photos and this skin would have made me look...well, nevermind. You'd have to wear a cupcake pacifier, pandabear backpack, this skin, and maybe glowing wings to look like an angel in bondage gear. But the skin would be included! One stepping stone closer to being just another devil in a sweet as cake disguise!

My final words: This is a definite check out. I'd check them all out, to be honest. Demo them all! Demo everything in the store! Buy something while you're there! ALSO: Join the MY UGLYDOROTHY group and win exclusive skins on the lucky boards as well! Can't lose if you don't try, am I right?
